Executes and produces the format on air through performing for and interacting with the audience and clients in studio and/or remote broadcasts to ensure the station’s ratings success. General responsibilities:
* Entertains & informs the audience
* Keeps traffic logs and transmitter readings
* Announces station identification
* Assists in special promotions and programming activities
* May act as emcee for public and/or private events
* Must represent station and/or client at events/locations for appearances or broadcasts which may include restaurants or bars which sell/promote alcohol. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
* Computer literacy in applicable programs
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Public speaking skill and ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting.
* Problem-solving ability and skill in prioritizing
* Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels
* Ability to multi-task and handle pressures and deadlines
* Skill in operation of control board, production and remote broadcasting equipment
* Must have on-air experience
* Must be available for weekend and holiday work Education and licensing requirements:
High school diploma
Valid drivers license Physical requirements:
May occasionally require lifting up to 25 lbs
