A "Reasonable Profits Board"?!? This is the most fascist proposal I've ever heard from a representative IN THIS COUNTRY! This guy wants to set up a Reasonable Profits Board to take the money fom the evil Lord Sith oil companies. "Kanjorski said his legislation will encourage oil companies to lower prices to prevent them from receiving higher tax rates." (?)
In other news, Exxon Mobil forked over a RECORD in taxes paid to the government. $10.9 Billion in profits, $29.3 Billion in taxes paid. I've said it before, "THANK GOD FOR EXXON MOBIL!" They pay almost $3 in taxes for every $1 in profit, that's $1,200 EVERY SECOND!
A UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopter costs $4.9 million to make. Exxon Mobil pays for that helicopter in 65 minutes. AND they supply the fuel to make it fly. I HATE Exxon Mobil.
